Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of DoctorReview Pro(the “Service”), operated by The Presence Lab(“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. By accessing or using DoctorReview Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Who can use the Service

DoctorReview Pro is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) tool intended for use by registered medical professionals, healthcare clinics, dental practices, and similar healthcare establishments operating legally within India and other jurisdictions.

By creating an account, you confirm that you have the legal authority to bind your clinic or practice to these Terms, and that all information you provide is accurate.

2. The Service

DoctorReview Pro helps healthcare clinics collect, manage, and respond to patient feedback. Our features include QR-code review collection, review templates, analytics, email alerts, WhatsApp message templates, and related tools. Specific features depend on your subscription plan.

We may add, modify, or remove features over time. We'll do our best to give you reasonable notice of significant changes.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree to notify us promptly at imran@thepresencelab.in if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

You are responsible for everything done through your account, including any reviews collected through QR codes or WhatsApp links associated with your clinic.

4. Subscription and payment

DoctorReview Pro is offered through subscription plans. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a third-party payment processor. When you purchase a subscription, you are redirected to Razorpay's checkout and your payment is governed by Razorpay's terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel before renewal.

5. Free trial

We offer a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. Your trial automatically ends after 30 days; to continue using paid features, you'll need to subscribe to a paid plan.

6. Refund and cancellation policy

You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings. When you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period — no further charges will be made.

Because DoctorReview Pro is a digital service offered on a subscription basis, we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been incorrectly billed, please contact us within 7 days at imran@thepresencelab.inand we will review the matter on a case-by-case basis.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any Indian or international law
  • Submit false reviews or manipulate the review collection process
  • Misrepresent the identity of patients or fabricate patient feedback
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other clinic accounts, or patient data
  • Use the Service to send spam, harassment, or unsolicited promotional content
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written permission

8. Patient data and confidentiality

Any patient information collected through the Service (such as feedback, names, or contact details voluntarily provided by patients) belongs to your clinic and is treated as confidential. You are responsible for handling this data in compliance with applicable laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and relevant medical confidentiality regulations.

We act as a data processor on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how data is handled.

9. Intellectual property

DoctorReview Pro, including all software, designs, content, and trademarks, is owned by The Presence Lab. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during your subscription period.

Content you upload (clinic name, services, keywords, reviews collected) remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display this content as needed to operate the Service for you.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or factors outside our control. We are not liable for losses arising from such interruptions.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, The Presence Lab's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, reputation, or data.

12. Termination

You can stop using the Service or delete your account anytime from settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with reasonable notice where possible.

Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days in case of reactivation, after which it will be permanently deleted, except where retention is required by law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
